My heart aches. It feels weak and it feels heavy at the same time. I've had so many emotional stress lately it's not even funny. I'm getting tired of smiling while inside i'm hurting.
I salute anyone who's in the same situation as i am - it's tough to pretend that everything is ok when in reality, it's a lot messier.

Ups and downs
I gotta be honest, this past month has been a little crazy. Emotional wise. I can't complain about school cuz it honestly keeps me sane.
Living with Andy is so much different. I thought it was gonna be the same as we were spending so much time with each other before i moved in. He's still out of work due to his knee surgery (snowboard accident). And i think we are breathing down each other's neck that's why it hasn't been all good recently. I dont know. It's so hard to be away from my family although they are only about 40 mins away. I mis them. I miss my friends. I miss my OWN free time.
This will pass.

Trip to Ulta
I didn't really need anything but ofcourse I wanted something from Ulta. I needed my make-up fix! I was only planning on getting Benefit Hoola bronzer but I ended up with a few other things.
One was Lorac Perfectly Lit powder which is supposed to be for all over the face but I will only use it as a highlighter. I finally bought an eye lash curler. I don't think i've ever owned one but I feel like my lashes are getting thinner and they are not as curly as they used to anymore so I needed this. Wanted it. Next one is Revlon lippie in Demure - it's a corally pinkish color and it honestly doesn't look good on me. Idk. I dont think i'll use it so most likely i will give it to my sister or my mom.
I got a couple Real Techniques brushes too, one is a setting powder and another is a blush brush. Do i really need them, no. But they were buy 1 get 40% off on the second one. Not bad. Lastly, i picked up a tube of Bliss hand cream by the counter and so far i am inlove with it! Worth checking out.
Once i actually start using the make up on my face, i think that's when i will post swatches or whatnot.
Also, i've been wanting to wash my brushes but been so lazy! So after buying new brushes today, i finally washed most of the brushes that I use. And ugh, it was disgusting! I need to make it a habit to wash them once a week or something.
Anyway. Laters!

Semester
This semester's almost over and I'm proud to say I am doing very well in all of my classes. :) I have an A so far in all of them. I believe in Math I have a 99.3 average. :)
One more month and it's over but my summer is already booked up with 3 more classes. Bio, another Math (statistics, I think) and Sociology. Looking forward to getting those 3 classes done and over with. It'll be a littlw tough bec a 16 week class will be sqeezed into 6 weeks! Wish me luck!!

Natural/Neutral Eye Makeup
MAC Eyeshadows:
- All That Glitters ~ all over lid up to the crease. Then use:
- Saddle ~ for the crease, to blend the lid color. This can be a little messy.
- Embark ~ is what you need for your outer v. During the day, for a natural look, just use a little bit. And add more for night time to intensify the look.
This will look best if you use a base (Painterly Paint Pot by MAC) or any other nude color base.
Some brushes are in the picture as well. My most used brushes. Then the angled big brush is what i use for my foundation. Next one is a pointed face brush that I use for my under eye concealer and lastly, Maybeline Age Rewind Undereye concealer which i love.
I should take pictures of everything that I put on my face. Next post maybe? :)

Smashbox Hydrating Foundation
I've been using this foundation from Smashbox for a little over a month now. I walked in to Sephora and informed them that I have a pretty oily skin. This is what the recommended.
My skin's not oily anymore and the coverage is great. It's very light but covers pretty good! . I use a 3.1 shade and it's perfect. Very east to blend. It lasts all day and no need to retouch. I still use my MAC mineralize powder to finish the look just like with any other foundation i use.
I like the way the pump works because it only gives out a little bit which means you never really waste anything. I like the cap cuz it actually seals it. Highly recommended!

Forever21
I havent been in this store for quite sometime because I thought I won't fit their clothes. But come to find out they carry XL sizes. Not too proud of my size but at least I'm trying to be somewhat "in style." I was only going in to get a few accesories but ended up buying a few tops that I'm pretty happy with.

Exhilirate
Today is my 3rd day on Zumba Exhilirate. Doing workout programs like this make me realize how unfit I am. 10 mins into it i'm already catching my breath. This is actually fun though compared to P90X which i did for a month. P90X did show results (i have to dig some pics!) even though i only did it for 30 days. It asked for too much of my time and to me it was torture. But as the days went by it became a little easier. Hopefully I'll feel the same with Zumba. At least with Zumba it feels like I'm just dancing. Kind of. Wish me luck! Oh. This post reminded me that i have to buy a new weighing scale. Ha!

Moved In!
This past Friday my mom came to help my unpack and somewhat organize...wait, I meant REALLY organize! We had a good time. We finished just when it started to snow and we were heading out to buy window blinds, candles, etc. We were out for a couple hours.
My brother offered to pick her up since it was snowing and at that point I decided I'm going back to VA with them for the night to spend time with them before school starts, which is tomorrow!!! We had dinner at Bonefish with the boyfran begore we headed to VA . It was a great Friday night!

Moving
I will be honest - this whole move to Andy's place has been a bit overwhelming. But I know that as soon as I start unpacking and getting organized, I'll be okay. It's just that we have a trip coming up and mostly, school starts in a few days.

Happy Hour with Tay
Planned to play with Taylor (my cousin's 22 month old daughter) for a few minutes turned into an hour. It's amazing how toddlers progress so much in a matter of days!
Today she cooked eggs, we dipped chips and fries in ketchup. We had potatoes, lots of veggies and cake. I offered her water but she said "No, juice!" LOL. We really didnt eat anything, they were toy foods. Good times, Tay!

Opening New Doors
Months ago I decided I really should go back to school. And with the help of my family and Andy, I've made the decision. I will go to school. Luckily, Andy is helpong me out a lot. Other than going back to school, which is FULL TIME, I will also be quitting my job so i can focus on studying. Only for the first semester, at least. All at the same time, I am MOVING INTO Andy's house! Pretty crazy but definitely exciting stuff.
I'm nervous all at the same time. Even though it seems and feels like Andy and I live together because of the amount of time we spend together, living in one roof will be different. I know all these changes are for the better.
Today, I formally gave my boss my resignation letter. Such bittersweet. Honestly though, it's been so bad at work lately that I just want to get out of there!
